Hello, Uncle François here...
No it isn't about political discussion... But Jo seems a bit isolated on the other side of the planet and would like to hear more from her blog readers.
Do you have any comments regarding her posts?
Do you have any questions?
(technical or not)
Is there a subject you'd like her to raise on a future post?
Please fire away... I'll forward them to her.
PS: Note that all comments are published by default. Do not include private details. Thank you!
Jo, Really enjoying reading your blog.
ReplyDeleteHope that you are enjoying your field research.
Have you made any interesting meals out of that dried food pack yet, or do you still have enough goodies to keep you going?
Trina
Hi Trina
DeleteThanks for the message! It's very cold here and we are constantly fighting the freezing wind, so it's enjoyable in some ways and not in others! Gorgeous scenery though (when we can see it through the fog). Roger has been cooking some tasty meals out of real food, which we still have some left of. In fact he's serving up right now, so I have to go (tonight is Lamb Pilaf with smash - nice but not as nice as the real thing!!
Jo
Hi Jo! I've typed a message to you already but it disappeared - I'm so good on computers! Hope you are well and the time is flying for you. I'm looking forward to you coming back to tutorials! Your blog entries are really amazing, great to read! It all sounds really incredible, Phoebe must be very proud of her mummy! Right, got to go, don't know what I'm doing sending this so hope you get it, take care, Lorraine x
ReplyDeleteHi Lorraine
DeleteGreat to hear from you. I am also looking forward to coming back to tutorials! You must fill me in sometime. Everything seems very distant from here, I must say. I got your last message, and lots of others. It is so good to hear from friends and family - both Roger and I look forward to downloading our emails in the evenings. The weather here is on the turn (nearly winter) and it is starting to get perishingly cold. I must say that getting up in the morning is extremely difficult when my sleeping bag is so cosy! And I'm not a morning person either! But when we can see something out of the tent door (i.e. when not foggy), it is staggeringly beautiful. Today we had sculptures in the snow made by the wind, which were like sand dunes!
Must go now. Take care and look forward to seeing you in February.
Jo xx
